Scholarly collaboration can be difficult across institutions and teams. The Open Science Framework is a free platform that allows you to keep all your files, data, and protocols in one centralized location. You control which parts of your project are public or private making it easy to collaborate with the worldwide community or just your team, and you can connect your favorite third party services such as Amazon, Dropbox, and GitHub directly to the Open Science Framework. Please join us on Thursday, October 12th in ITLE Room 126 from 9am-12noon to hear more about how this tool can help you! Register here: https://goo.gl/J3Ybvf

XSEDE, along with the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center, will be presenting an OpenACC GPU programming workshop. Participants will be able to attend remotely at Oklahoma State University and need to bring their own laptop. OpenACC is the accepted standard using compiler directives to allow quick development of GPU capable code using standard languages and compilers. It has been used with great success to accelerate real applications within very short development periods. This workshop assumes knowledge of either C or Fortran programming. It will have a hands-on component using the Bridges computing platform at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center. Register by going to: https://portal.xsede.org/course-calendar.
